This part of the myth has not been included fully in the Webtoon, but it's been teased that Aphrodite has something in store for Psyche and her son. Furthermore, the original myth has Psyche perform several tasks to prove to Aphrodite that she loves Eros. This is one of the most direct adaptations of the myths in Lore Olympus, with the main difference being that Eros originally hid himself entirely from Psyche, so she wasn't even sure what he looked like. After allowing her sisters to visit, they convince Psyche that Eros is a monster, who she should kill. Eros steals her away from a loveless engagement, gifting her a home for themselves, but he keeps his godly identity a secret. After his mother, Aphrodite, grows jealous of how beautiful Psyche is, she demands Eros make her fall in love with a beast, however, he becomes smitten by Psyche. Lore Olympus, on the other hand, develops their relationship before Persephone becomes a queen, which is hinted to happen in the future, and both parties consent from the start.Īlong with the primary romance, one of Persephone's closest friends, Eros, is enduring his own romance with Psyche. Some believe Persephone chose to eat the fruit and others believe Hades tricked her, however, after spending time in the Underworld together, they fall in love. After some time, Persephone eats six pomegranate seeds, which keeps her in the Underworld for six months each year.

This differs from the myth, which starts with Hades kidnapping Persephone to be his queen.
